Victorian Volcanic Plains Grasslands
Flora specialist Dr Geoff Carr will be guest speaker at an Ecology Presentation on November 24th to be followed by a Victorian Volcanic Plains Grasslands field day held at the Hawkesdale Racecourse reserve. Some flora ID materials will be supplied as well as light refreshments.

Crater Lakes Public Forum

A crater lake
A public forum is to be held in Camperdown this coming Friday night that will provide an opportunity to learn of past climate and environmental history contained within the lakes and sediments of the Victorian Volcanic Plains crater lakes.
The presentation will also examine how the crater lake ecosystems may respond to climate change and increased human impacts.
Guest speakers from a number of Australian Universities will be attending.
When: Friday, January 20th, 2012
Time: 5pm to 7:30pm
Where: McCabe Room, Camperdown Community Centre, Camperdown
