Please note the venue and time for the Wednesday, February 15th, 2012 meeting have been changed to:

2012 Lake Bolac Eel Festival

The 2012 Lake Bolac Eel Festival is to be held on the 23rd and 24th of March with a theme of  Flows – of lava, water and story.

Festival events begin on Friday evening, March 23rd with the Festival Art Exhibition. The feature artist is glass-maker James McMurtrie of Pomonal. A recycled art competition invites you to create bird scarers making use of colour, movement, natural energy and sound.

The Festival on Saturday, March 24th is from 11am to midnight. Headlining the acts on the Saturday are Carus Thompson, Coloured Stone and Neil Murray and band.

Tickets available at the gate:
Adult $30   Family $60    13-18 yrs $15   Children 12 and under are FREE

When:
23rd and 24th of March 2012

Saturday – 11am to midnight

Lake Bolac

Camping is available at the Lake Bolac Caravan Park (call Frank & Lorraine to book on  (03) 5350 2329) or around the foreshore ($15/site/night – the ranger will collect your fees).  The Lake Bolac Motel is a comfortable option – call Nell on (03) 5350 2218.
