Please be advised that a Kanawinka Geopark Board meeting is to be held on:

Wednesday, March 28, (Full Board)

10:30am Vic. time (10:00am SA time)

Martin J. Hynes Auditorium, Market Place, Hamilton, Vic.
(next door to the Council Chambers)
Advice is given that two Special Resolutions are to be put to Members at the March 28th 2012 general meeting at 12.30pm Vic time (12:00pm SA time)
Special Resolution 1. proposes the Association Registered Name be changed from Kanawinka Geopark Inc. to Kanawinka Inc.
Special Resolution 2. proposes the ‘Model Rules’ Constitution of Kanawinka Geopark Inc. be changed and that the changed Constitution be adopted for Kanawinka Inc.
Membership fees of Kanawinka Inc will be $5.00 per annum

2012 Lake Bolac Eel Festival

AbaF Awards 2011 State Winner
The 2012 Lake Bolac Eel Festival is to be held on the 23rd and 24th of March with a theme of Flows – of lava, water and story.
Festival events begin on Friday evening, March 23rd with the Festival Art Exhibition. The feature artist is glass-maker James McMurtrie of Pomonal. A recycled art competition invites you to create bird scarers making use of colour, movement, natural energy and sound.
The Festival on Saturday, March 24th is from 11am to midnight. Headlining the acts on the Saturday are Carus Thompson, Coloured Stone and Neil Murray and band.
Tickets available at the gate:
Adult $30 Family $60 13-18 yrs $15 Children 12 and under are FREE
