The Stony Rises story … 10 million years in the making
Greening Australia and Corangamite CMA are holding an event “The Stony Rises Story – 10 million years in the making” to coincide with the launch of the Stony Knoll Shrubland Landholder Guide, which follows on from the successful release of the Stony Rises Woodland Landholder guide last month.
Come along to Alvie Recreation Reserve and hear expert presenter Stephen Carey talk about the ancient mega-fauna of the volcanic plain, and learn more about the landscape with a visit to Red Rock. Then, be part of the launch of our landholder guide for the Stony Knoll Shrubland, a unique and rugged landscape east of Lake Corangamite.
The guide features everything you need to know about native flora and fauna of the area, weeds, and conservation actions you can be part of to help our native animals and plants thrive.
