The Stony Rises Project

An exhibition of work by ten contemporary artists and designers
from The Stony Rises Project is on public display at Warrnambool Art  Gallery until 30th January 2011.

The Stony Rises Project works evolved from a four day artists’ camp in April 2009, which examined the histories of the Western District of Victoria and interacted with  individuals from the community.

Managed by National Exhibitions Touring Support (NETS) Victoria and developed by RMIT Design Research Institute, The Stony Rises Project brings together the creative qualities of the artist, the designer, the architect, the landscape architect, the historian, the geologist, and the landscape archeologist.
